The MEDRE Staking Model

The MEDRE staking program offers a unique opportunity to earn rewards and participate in the growth of our platform. Our innovative profit-sharing model distributes a portion of the net profits generated from our Mediterranean assets directly to stakers.

Staking Mechanics

• Profit-Sharing: Each year, 25% of the annual net profits are allocated to reward stakers. Your daily reward is calculated as:
  Daily Reward = (0.25 * Net Profit in EUR bought in Tokens – Already Distributed Tokens) / Days Remaining in Deposit) * (Your Staked Tokens / Total Staked Tokens) * Reward Rate
• Buyback and Distribution: In the initial years, while our aim is to use annual net profit to repurchase MEDRE tokens from the open market and distribute these tokens as rewards, we recognize the need for flexibility. Due to the limited circulating supply expected in the early stages, large-scale buybacks could impact market stability. Therefore, we will strategically assess market conditions and may utilize reserve allocations to distribute rewards if open market buybacks are deemed unsuitable. As the project matures and circulating supply increases, we intend to transition fully to open market buybacks.
• Lockup Periods: Choose from flexible lockup periods of 1 year, 6 months, or 3 months, each with a corresponding reward rate.
  • 1 Year: 100% of the daily reward share
  • 6 Months: 85% of the daily reward share
  • 3 Months: 70% of the daily reward share
• Dynamic Adjustment: Presale participants can adjust their lockup period after the initial year, potentially affecting the reward rate.
• Grace Period: After your lockup period ends, you have a 1-month grace period to decide whether to unstake your tokens penalty-free. However, if you take no action during this grace period, your tokens will automatically be re-locked for the same duration as your previous staking period.
• Early Unstaking: Once your initial lockup period is complete, you can unstake your tokens before the next grace period begins. However, doing so will incur a 20% penalty on the rewards earned during that specific lockup period.
• Penalty Redistribution: Penalties are used to benefit the community:
  • 40% of penalized amounts are added to a new dividend pool for all stakers.
  • 40% are burned, reducing the total token supply and increasing value.
  • 20% are used for prize draws for stakers.

Incentive Token Pools

In addition to the 25% annual net profit distribution, MEDRE offers dedicated incentive token pools for staked token holders with a total of 50 million reserved tokens designed to reward long-term holders:

• Exclusive Phase 1 Pool: Phase 1 investors have access to an exclusive pool of 10 million MEDRE tokens. Starting from Phase 3, 2 million tokens annually are set aside, and dividends will be distributed daily to Phase 1 investors for 5 years. Your share of this distribution depends on the percentage of the total staked MEDRE tokens you hold within Phase 1a and 1b.
• Combined Phase 1 & 2 Pool: Phase 1 investors also receive rewards from a separate pool of 10 million tokens shared with Phase 2 investors. Starting from Phase 3, 2 million tokens annually are set aside, and dividends will be distributed daily for 5 years. Your share in this pool is determined by the percentage of the total staked tokens you hold within Phase 1 and Phase 2 combined.
• General Staking Pool: A general staking pool of 20 million tokens is open to all stakers, including those who purchase tokens on the open market. Starting from Phase 3, 4 million tokens annually are set aside, and dividends will be distributed daily for 5 years. Your share of the rewards from this pool depends on your percentage of the total staked MEDRE tokens across all phases and the open market.
• Future Staking Pool: After the initial 5-year period, a final pool of 10 million MEDRE tokens is available to all stakers. From this pool, 2 million tokens annually are set aside, and dividends will be distributed daily for 5 years. Your share of the rewards depends on your percentage of the total staked MEDRE tokens across all phases and the open market.

Presale Participants

Presale tokens are initially locked for one year. After this period, the lockup duration can be adjusted, potentially affecting the reward rate.
