The underlying assets backing the MEDRE Asset-Referenced Token (ART) will comprise a diversified portfolio of high-yielding hotel, real estate properties and hospitality & tourism concepts situated in the vibrant Mediterranean market, a region renowned for its thriving tourism industry and attractive investment landscape. The selection of these assets will be meticulously curated by Mundofy (the operating company) and its diverse real estate advisory board, prioritizing prime locations and properties with strong growth potential, ensuring capital appreciation and sustainable revenue streams. The portfolio will encompass a range of asset classes, including:

  • Hotels: These could include (but not limited to) boutique hotels, luxury resorts, and serviced apartments catering to the diverse needs of the thriving tourism industry in the Mediterranean region.
  • Residential Properties: This category may include apartment complexes, villas, and townhouses, targeting both local residents and international investors seeking attractive rental yields or vacation homes in this sought-after region. Additionally, we may also consider acquiring unfinished or “skeleton” properties, completing their construction, and subsequently selling them for a profit.
  • Commercial Real Estate: This could encompass office spaces, retail centers, and mixed-use developments, capitalizing on the region’s economic dynamism and business opportunities, ensuring a diversified income stream.
  • Hospitality and Tourism Concepts: This broader category could include investments in innovative ventures that enhance the hospitality and tourism experience solutions that improve the overall travel and leisure experience in the Mediterranean region.

When MEDRE retains ownership and operation of a property, we will partner with reputable third-party hospitality management companies to streamline operations and leverage specialized expertise. This strategic collaboration eliminates the need for us to establish a complex HR structure in the initial stages, allowing us to focus on core business objectives such as property acquisition and portfolio management. These partnerships provide access to industry best practices, operational efficiency, and a pool of qualified hospitality professionals. The potential for long-term collaboration with these partners presents a “golden ticket” opportunity, ensuring seamless operations, access to top-tier talent, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. 

Our focus will be on acquiring properties that generate sustainable revenue streams through various channels, such as hotel operations, leasing, loan interest, project development profits, investment dividends, and property acquisition/franchising. This multi-faceted approach to revenue generation aims to maximize returns for token holders and fuel the project’s growth.
